Session in National Conference – The Future of Turkey-EU Relations (February 2023)

With the aim of disseminating accumulated knowledge on the current dynamics in Turkey-EU relations to students and young researchers from different universities, civil servants, civil society actors, and senior academics, the MEDIATE project team organised a panel session at the 17th National Social Sciences Conference of the Social Sciences Association of Turkey (TSBD), entitled "Türkiye-AB İlişkilerinin Geleceği" ("The Future of Turkey-EU Relations"), which was held on 2 February 2023 in Ankara.

MEDIATE Workshop: “What's in Store for Türkiye-EU Relations?” (7 January 2025)

The MEDIATE Workshop was organised in cooperation with the METU Studies in Development journal, as a one-day workshop to contribute to the creation of a sustainable network and community of European Studies scholars to cooperate and collaborate to foster an interactive dialogue between the academia and society.

Post-graduate Conference (10-11 January 2025)

An online two-day post-graduate conference entitled “Current Issues in Turkiye-EU Relations”  was organised in English on 10-11 January 2025, where dynamics that converge and/or diverge in Turkey-EU relations were analysed from different perspectives. The event aimed to provide an opportunity to gain expertise for graduate students who are prospective policy-makers; and to create a sustainable network and community of the students of European Studies.

Closing Event (13 January 2025)

MEDIATE Closing Event entitled “The Future of European Studies” was organised a one-day panel session held on 13 January 2025 to bring together policy-makers, scholars, and practitioners to discuss the future of the Türkiye-EU relationship in the context of European Studies. The event composed of one keynote speech followed by a panel of four papers.
